What's in my diaper bag???

So...I am also packing my diaper bag to take along to the hospital along w/my hospital bag but have also pre-packed Gregg's diaper dude bag too, lol.  Just so it is ready for him to use when he has an outing w/Portia!  Below will be a list of what I've included in each PRE-BABY and I may revise this list after Portia is here and we've gotten into a routine and know exactly what should stay in the diaper bag. 

 

What diaper bag have I chosen to use?

 

Firstly, the diaper bag that I decided to go with is the Skip Hop Studio Tote Diaper Bag in Pewter Dot.  I first heard about this bag from my girlfriend, Stephanie who has one in a champagne color I believe....I liked it because it doesn't look like a diaper bag at all--but more like a great purse w/lots of organization which was great because then it omits me having to carry an additional purse w/the bag...I may possibly invest in a dark or black colored diaper bag as well so that I can change them out periodically like my purses...I'm so glad my good friend, Cory got the diaper bag for me cuz it was definitely in my top 5 things I wanted to have to use!

The diaper bag I got for Gregg is from Diaper Dudes and is so cool!

Loose items within both diaper bags:

• Changing pad (was included w/the diaper bag)
• 2 receiving blankets
• 1 change of clothes for baby and socks
• 2 bibs
• 3 face washcloths
• 2 cloth diapers
• 1 wetbag
• 1 container of wipes
• 1 baby toy
• 1 mini hand sanitizer
• 1 shirt for me/Gregg (in case we need to change)
• 1 30ct. boogie wipes
• 1 bottle of water
• gum/mints
• 1 air deodorizer spray (in case we need to neutralize any funky odors, lol)
• 1 scented sachet of some sort to keep the bag smelling fresh :)

a toiletry bag to include:

• mini baby lotion
• mini baby wash
• mini jar of coconut oil (to use for diaper cream)
• Little Remedies travel set which includes:
• Saline Spray, Gas Drops, Medicine Dropper, Saf T Pops, Teethers Gel Aspirator, Nail Clipper
• children's medicine like ibuprophen, benadryl, etc.,
• band-aids
• antibiotic ointment

Additionally I will also have my Ju-Ju-Be Be Quick bag (which will house all of my personal items like wallet, keys, money etc.,)  tossed in w/my diaper bag.
Because I will be breastfeeding, I will also have nursing pads, nursing cover, and lanolin cream.
Gregg may have bottles of breastmilk in his bag should he ever have to take Portia anywhere w/out me.
